Brittany Hemphill
Brittany is a professional Medical/Scientific Illustrator and Biomedical Communicator.

She started her company Hemphill Studios in 2017, doing freelance work for textbooks. In 2019-2020 she worked as a Medical Illustrator/Animator at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto, creating medical illustrations and educational materials for the AboutKidsHealth website.

Brittany has a Master of Science in Biomedical Communications (MScBMC) degree from the University of Toronto, one of only four accredited graduate programs for medical/scientific visualization in North America. She also has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (Spec. Honours Visual Art) from York University, and an extensive scientific background, having taken courses in anatomy (including cadaver dissection), physiology, neuroanatomy, embryology, pathology and cell biology, among others.
